Mood Hood - What do you feel?

Artist Book & Installation by Sanna Gossy

‘Mood Hood’ book is an extension of an art installation from Waking Life Festival 2024, that translates the immersive quality of the original in Portugal into a multisensory art book that actively engages readers through tactile and visual elements. The positive feedback from visitors inspired artist Sanna Gossy and curator Elisabeth Oberleitner to make the project accessible to a broader audience in a crafted form. Each of the 400 copies is a handmade original, produced from recycled textiles and various materials and stickers, designed to invite playful exploration, aesthetic experience, and emotional resonance.

With Mood Hood ~ What do you feel?, artist Sanna Gossy transforms her immersive installation into a sculptural artist book - a tactile object meant to be felt.

Each fold, each surface, each texture becomes a moment to explore perception through touch, play, and introspection.

Positioned at the intersection of contemporary art, book design, and multisensory research, Mood Hood merges sculptural, tactile, and visual elements with performative and participatory formats. Created in collaboration with curator Elisabeth Oberleitner, the book merges intimacy and materiality, offering a sensory dialogue between body and emotion.

Mood Hood the book launches on the 27th November 2025.
