I find it very fascinating to play in a field where analog and digital forms meet. When creating my analog works, I start experimenting with different mediums and techniques: drawings, paper collages, watercolour… you name it. Next up: digital editing. An unpredictable, beautiful mess. I play with colors, gradation, masking… I get into creative flow, I don't think anymore, I work intuitively. Then there's a momentum – I feel something's changed. There is an expression in the artwork that hasn't been there before. And it feels even more natural than the analog root piece. That's when I hit Save and bring the screen pixels back to the analog world as Art Prints. Crucial to my works: They show the process – their Life. You see those pixel fragments? They may be life-changing events, stories, bruises, hugs, whispers from a parallel universe. Communicating on a level beyond.
