Georgia Williams is a multi-disciplinary artist-curator based in South West England. Through photography, drawing, research and exhibitions, Georgia seeks to dig deep into the journey of understanding self and human experience intellectually, physically and spiritually. Kindled by curiosity and fueled by enquiry, Georgia’s practice centres on finding new ways of looking and pushing the boundaries of perception.
Georgia holds a MA Art History & Curating at University of Birmingham (2022) and BA (Hons) Photography at Nottingham Trent University (2019). Earlier this year, Georgia was awarded an Arts Council England Developing Your Creative Practice (DYCP) grant. Through this funding, she has spent the past year mapping the curatorial landscape across the West and South West England, researching the individuals, organisations and networks shaping the region’s contemporary art ecology.How Your Heart Beats, opening this September, marks Georgia’s first institutional solo exhibition
